Plan Ahead to Find a Biology Scholarship
When looking for scholarships for biology majors, it is important to speak with high school counselors and the biology department of the university of college when you wish to study. Applying early for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms (January of the year before you start your fall semester to enter college) will also help, especially for need-based scholarships for biology students. You may be asked to write an essay for your biology scholarship application and be asked about your career goals after you earn your biology degree. We recommend the book: What Can You Do with a Major in Biology: Real people. Real jobs. Real rewards.
Planning ahead is the most important thing when it comes to finding a biology scholarship.
